Consumer Electronics Show 2010 (CES) Commence this Week
The Consumer Electronics Show 2010 (CES): launches this week and analysts are expecting the predominant themes to be connectivity and mobility. Of course, we could not deny the excitement of the consumers who will be witnessing what’s the latest gadget right now. Well, we can expect mobile devices such as new Android and tablet computers are expected to be a big focus. Meanwhile, outside of CES, Google and Apple are both expected to make announcements regarding their future plans this month.
Google Nexus One phone launch will be on January 5th, while Apple is rumored to be announcing their tablet device on/around January 26th.
CES is known as one of the biggest shows worldwide for companies to show off new electronics and gadgets to consumers. As with previous years, Sony Computer Entertainment plans to be a big participant at CES and now with its latest on gaming.
Actually, several Sony’s booth area shows an enormous amount of effort that Sony is putting into the trade show. While the photos themselves don’t display what Sony plans to unveil at the show, the scale of the booth area and the setup look to be very impressive. While a large portion of Sony’s products are related to other facets of the electronics market other than gaming, there should be several electronics shown that advertise their PlayStation products, namely the upcoming motion controller for the PlayStation 3 console.
CES 2010 begins January 7th and ends January 10th, so look out for exciting news in the near future. Watch for it…
